CORDOVA, Alaska - Two men signal a Coast Guard helicopter crew, alerted by the Alaska National Guard, to their need for rescue from the beach at Kayak Island 62 miles southeast of Cordova May 8, 2011.
This is the second small plane crash the Coast Guard crew, forward deployed to Cordova from Aitr Station Kodiak, has responded to in less than a week.

The Coast Guard crew, forward deployed to Cordova from Kodiak, rescued the two men and returned them to Cordova.
