Photo Release: Coast Guard rescues three hunters near Sitka

SITKA, Alaska — A Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew safely delivers three rescued hunters all reported in good condition to Air Station Sitka Dec. 14, 2011.

The Hunters were found safe but stranded when their skiff floated away while they were staying at a cabin located at Sevenfathom Bay, 20 miles south of Sitka.

SITKA, Alaska — A Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crewmembers safely escort three rescued hunters from the helicopter at Air Station Sitka Dec. 14, 2011.

The three hunters were reported missing when they failed to show up for work, a subsequent search found the hunters safe but stranded at a cabin located at Sevenfathom Bay, 20 miles south of Sitka.
