Photo Release Coast Guard rescues Anchorage, Soldotna men after plane crash on Montague Island

ANCHORAGE, Alaska – A Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk and crew from the Coast Guard’s Cordova Aviation Support Facility rescued three stranded men whose plane had reportedly flipped over while taking off from the beach along Patton Bay on Montague Island at 3:15 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, 2009.  Dylan Honebriak, 27, an Anchorage resident, was reportedly flying his Piper Pacer, tail number N2601P, when the incident occurred on Montague.  Honebriak and his two passengers, his stepfather Ricardo Montoya, 48, and stepbrother Keith Montoya, 18, both Soldotna residents, escaped the plane without injuries.
