Unified Command Press Release

JUNEAU, Alaska - Due to inclement weather, Saturday's operations were limited to one overflight of the
Selendang Ayu wreck and wildlife recovery.

Depending on today's weather, operations may include skimming oil from the engine room of the wreck. To date,
a total of 131,169 gallons of intermediate fuel oil (IFO) and 11,523 gallons of diesel have been removed from the
wreck for a total of 142,692 gallons of IFO/diesel/water.

All operational vessels are still in Dutch Harbor standing by to continue cleanup operations when the weather
conditions allow them to do so safely. While in port, the vessels will re-supply and conduct maintenance,
decontamination and cleanup.

U.S. Fish and Wildlife crews recovered five dead/scavenged birds from Chernofski Bay. To date 1,600 birds
have been recovered from the bays.

Crab processing in Dutch Harbor was completed Saturday. Alaska Department of Environmental
Conservation investigators found no evidence of oil on any of the product. Processors will now turn their
attention to cod and pollock, which will last until mid to late March.

Today's weather in Dutch Harbor consists of southeast winds of 40 knots diminishing to 25 knots this afternoon,
three to five foot seas, rain and an air temperature of 44 degrees.
