Coast Guard releases names of rescued crewmen, dog

JUNEAU, Alaska - The Coast Guard released the names and ages of the four crewmen of the fishing vessel Adriana, which grounded near Kodiak about 8:40 a.m. Wednesday.

They are Ralph Henderson, 51, Wade Turnbow, 45, James Morgan, 46, and Bob Popkin, 52. The age of their female dog, Jeff, is not known.

A Coast Guard helicopter crew rescued the four men and the dog. Rescuers took the crewmen to Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center for treatment of mild hypothermia and a minor head wound sustained by one of the crew.
