KODIAK, Alaska- The Coast Guard cutter Alex Haley and its crew return home after a four-month stay in San Pedro, Calif. Shipyard workers there removed the cutter’s A-frame style forward mast, enlarged the pilot house and installed new electronics among other technological upgrades.
