Coast Guard helicopter crew airlifts injured worker

KODIAK, Alaska - A Coast Guard helicopter crew transported an injured worker from the Trout Point set net site near Moser Bay on the southern end of Kodiak Island Wednesday night.

The Coast Guard received a call at 7 p.m. from Rick Ellington, a co-worker at the set net site, reporting that Kevin Fisher was hit in the face with a pressure washer and needed to be taken to the hospital.

A Coast Guard helicopter crew from Air Station Kodiak delivered the 33-year-old set net employee safely to Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center for treatment.
