Coast Guard C-130 crew airlifts two patients 

KODIAK, Alaska - A Coast Guard C-130 aircrew transported two patients from the Sand Point Medical Clinic on Popof Island, off the Alaska Peninsula, to Cold Bay Tuesday afternoon.

At 6:52 a.m., the Coast Guard received a call from the health staff at Sand Point Medical Clinic requesting an airlift of 67-year-old Alicia Caballero and 33-year-old Gemma Silim to Anchorage, who were both experiencing medical complications.

The Kodiak based flight crew arrived on scene and transported both patients to Cold Bay where they transferred to a Life Flight aircraft for further transport to Anchorage.
